Experience the stunning African sunset while beginning your night safari in an open vehicle using spotlights to encounter the glinting eyes of nocturnal animals. Watch Lions and Leopards on the hunt or spot the bush babies jumping from tree to tree as your knowledgeable guide shares interesting local knowledge with you. This is a very different and exciting way to see animals that you may not see during the day.

LIONSPRUIT RESERVE GAME DRIVE

Lionspruit Reserve, almost next door to the Royal Kruger Lodge, is home to a few lions, many other animals and birds. It contributes to your safety by providing an enclosed habitat for lions. They are often heard breaking the stillness of the night while dining at our Boma Dinners. Climb out of the vehicle at the cosy watering shelter to see the birds and perhaps a thirsty animal. Inhale the sights and sounds of the bush. |

CROCODILE RIVER SUNDOWNER SAFARI

Relax in an open safari vehicle off the beaten track of the Crocodile River, buzzing with various wildlife. Enjoy sundowners while watching the flaming sun gracefully sink beneath the horizon.. Swallows soar and elephantsare frequently been seen crossing the river at sunset. Crocodiles bask in the remaining rays and hippos ears emerge and submerge playfully in the water.

BUSH ORIENTATION WALK

Probably the closest that you'll come to the wild. Join our guide for an up close and personal experience of the safer bushveld surrounding the lodge. You may see tracks and identify giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala, vervet monkeys, mongoose, spotted genet or warthogs - or birds including fork tail drongo, african fish eagle, marabou stork, yellow billed hornbill. The amazing tapestry of a spider's web as the sunlight dances off dew beads, a colourfully miraged chameleon or a dung beetle hard at work are often experienced by the avid adventurer.. Sometimes, its the hidden secrets of the bush, which guests most treasure as memories of their safari holiday.

CULTURAL VILLAGE, SWAZILAND

Swaziland, an independent country within South Africa is the only remaining true monarchy of the African Continent.
Enjoy a guided tour to a fascinating village where Swazi tribesmen and women perform their traditional dancing, singing and provide insight into the Swazi culture.

TIGER FISHING

The Komati River has its catchment area in the Swaziland Mountains and flows down to the Crocodile River, at the southernmost border of the Kruger National Park. In this tranquil setting, one can experience the might of one of Africa’s finest fresh water game fish. Our experienced guide will take you to some of the best sites in this river, renowned for its Tiger Fishing, where you may also observe Hippos and Crocodiles in their natural habitats.

ELEPHANT RIDING SAFARI

This is a one way safari that starts off with the interaction followed by a safari through the bush to a private waterhole. When you get to the waterhole they will be lead to the water. Here you will have a selection of cold drinks waiting as you watch the sunset behind the dam with the sounds of the bush in the background putting the finishing touches of an unforgettable African safari experience. Game drive vehicles will be waiting to return you back to our vehicle.

Savour the Portuguese Afro-Euro culture of Mozambique/ Paul Kruger the founder of the Kruger Park and President of the Transvaal republics attended the opening of the Railway Station in 1896. Part of the Motion picture Blood Diamond was filmed there too. Here you'll board the Maputo express for a tour of Maputo. You'll see the house of steel built and designed by Mr Eiffel, the famous Lady of Fatima Cathedral and Municipal buildings.
A visit to the Louis Trichardt museum and you'll also stop at the Portuguese fort which is built from red coral. The famous fish market is a must. You will also get to see Nelson Mandela and his Mozambiquecan wife Graca Machel's house.
Drive along the famous palm lined marginal with spectacular sea views and enjoy lunch at Casta do Sol.
